Homebound Delivery Service

The library has introduced a homebound service program that allows patrons who are unable to travel to the library due to medical conditions to receive home delivery of library materials.

In order to qualify for this door-to-door delivery and pickup service of materials, an applicant must live within the North Merrick UFSD and possess a North Merrick Public Library card.  An application form must be submitted to the Director’s office along with a doctor’s note stating that the applicant cannot physically visit the library due to illness, surgery, or long term disability.  Patrons interested in this service can check with the Reference Department concerning the program guidelines and policy, or view them and print an application form by accessing the library’s website at www.northmerrickpubliclibrary.org.
