READING INCENTIVE PROGRAMS


1,000 Books Before Kindergarten

 

 

This initiative is a self-guided, ongoing early literacy Incentive program designed to encourage

parents to read to their infants, toddlers and preschoolers.


A Summer Reading Club is offered to North Merrick children going into grades K-6 in September.

This is a fun, reading incentive program designed to keep our students reading throughout the summer months.  The North Merrick Public Schools encourage all students to join and the School Administration acknowledges those students who complete the requirements of the club!
